Hi Earnie,

Wow - it has been a long time indeed since I have played around with EveryAuction. That was back in the days of me learning Perl (before I moved on to PHP) and generating the foundations of my internet based future.

Do people still actively work on modifications for EA?

I know with the 1.5 release, quite a few of the old original members left but the community soon picked up again.

Does anyone also know what's happened to Matt? I'd like to thank him as EveryAuction, as I mentioned, is essentially what got me in to programming.

Thanks for the compliments on MyBB as well!

In regards to the commenting in IE 6 - I just posted a test comment in IE 7 and it worked fine. Unfortunately I don't have access to IE 6 on a machine at the moment - are you able to let me know the error message you get?

Thanks,
Chris

hi Chris,

thank you for your great Job, I installed the forum script after searching around a long time looking for something real usable.

I know your name from the former and not longer existing EveryAuction Forum and Codepost Section. Beeing probably one of the last real "FAN'S" of Matt Hahnfeld's everyauction Idea, I started a website concentrating of EA Themes, and I needed a Forum Script in order to continue assisting users with questions and problem regarding EA.

Hopefully, your work will do the Job. I just released it today on my website.

Keep on doing such a great Job !

best regards from Switzerland

Ernie

PS. just realized that I cannot send this with my IE6, so I had to use Mozilla Firefox ( Javascript error in IE, sumbit button dois not work)

Hi Jeff,

You seem to have got the "wrong end of the stick." THe editor does not integrate with MyBB at all - this is just something I had to do for some client work I was doing.</blockquote>

Oh! My bad. *Hits myself*

Great work though!

Looks very promising, however, I know Wordpress uses this in their Rich Text Editor, which is too annoying and I turn off. Will an option in the UserCP or AdminCP be avaliable to turn this thing on or off?
