    Hey, you’re working on a bug tracker? My “16 bugs”:http://16bugs.com/ won’t be happy… ;)

Nice interview! You’re pretty busy, ah? :)

And talking about the control panel, will you release it anytime soon — if at all? Because I really like it.

    Thanks for the comments guys..

Michele - For the MyBB bug tracker (will never be publicly released), we needed something which integrates in to the MyBB forums as well as in the future our project management system. I’ll be making good use of your awesome 16bugs service soon - and I keep meaning to write a review about it as well (Still a little annoyed my submission on digg never made it to the front page!)

Busy - hell yes. Now have a stack of assessments which also need finishing and a mini documentary to produce for college.

With the control panel, I’m currently up in arms about it. Things like the postfix configuration are messy (Seeing as though I was up until about 6am trying to get it working correctly and am scared to change things as I don’t want to break it again).

I have intentions of adding the capability to add subdomains and manage MySQL databases at some time too - but I want to keep it simple.

I might try and get it ready for release in a while but right now I need to finish up these assessments and then focus my attention back on MyBB with the team.

Surfi, you might want to edit the link admin fusion and add a suffix “.com” ;) The interview once again shows our dearest fish in the sea is oh so leet :D Nice interview, Chris. An interview for a website ….. where’s the party ? :D

Hehe, I’m glad you won’t be a competitor. And I’d even be gladder if you decide to use 16bugs for your everyday tasks.

As for the digg submission, I’m a bit sad it didn’t end up on the front page: it’s doing well, but lately I haven’t seen many new registrations, so a bit of publicity would really be of use. And digg can really help on that front.

Looking forward to both the next release of MyBB and, possibly, to the CP. :)

If the entire staff of MyBB were stranded on a deserted island, who would be the first to be eaten and why?

I didn’t know how to answer this and who’d be the first to be eaten.

I threw the question toward the MyBB staff and they couldn’t make their mind up either. I’m placing my money on that they’d all be eaten because they couldn’t make a decision! Of course, they’d probably try sacrifice me instead.

Heh, how true… Everyone said they weren’t worth being eaten.

    Nice interview :)

… Oh this interview, I told you I’d find it eventually :)…

As for the bug tracker integration into MyBB, I totally support that. In fact I was wondering why you didnt have a (”proper”?) bug tracker. And this also gets me thinking, will MyBB be thinking along the lines of CMS…?

I don’t think we have any plans to build a CMS around MyBB at the moment, Bobby.

Me and a friend I met on the internet will be atempting to create a CMS based on MYBB integration. I still don’t know how well that will go though since we are both still learning the basics of php:P

I can’t believe you work so much Chris. Honestly, That’s crazy. Good work!
