A brilliant marketing idea which applies perfectly to the Mac shareware market. The mystery zots and regular zots are always generous and at the end of the day you have a lot of ecstatic consumers and even more ecstatic developers.

One correction to the post though: the developers do not get the full profits from the dicounted version of their software - (naturally) the folks at macZot takes a well earned piece of the pie.
