New Menu Design Finished

Okay, I sat down with exactly what I had in mind for the menu design for the template i’m currently using (see the post below if you haven’t already read it) and eventually I had a Photoshop mockup. Since then it’s taken a while to get it to work in both Internet Explorer and Firefox just how I wanted it (not to mention me rewriting how the template works).

It’s now in place above and should be working in both IE and Firefox. If it isn’t working for you, in whatever browser, let me know.

For now I’ve left the menu on the right just incase anyone can’t use the one above.

Now, back to sorting out the problem with IE and the contact page..

    Lurbing the new design… one comment though and that is that I thought the comment submit button was disabled as it’s grey. I can think of a number of different colour combinations that would still work without this confusion.

    See Chris… I told you that you should put the menu below the green bar… I mean above it :P It is almost the same anyways, right? ;) You made it look really nice.

    Are my eyes going crazy or is there a slightly difference in color between the active menu item and the inactive menu item?

    There is a slightly different colour.. I’m not sure if I want to keep it that way, change it to something more noticible or make it the same as the background of the menu.

    The new menu looks really nice… I think you should keep the colour difference when active. Making it a bit darker would hurt either…

    On top of the right sidebar there is some margin (or possibly padding) but not on top of the horizontal menu you made. You might want to get rid of the margin on top of the right sidebar or add a margin above your menu to make it look more uniform. Of course, I am not much of a designer so I may just be crazy ;)
