I have a NVIDIA Geforce 6800 Ultra… it’s PCI-express though. It’s a really great card, the best out there at the moment. You’ll need a thick wallet though.

Well I do a bit of video editing every now and again. I’ll probably get in to gaming more too because of the specs. I was thinking about the GT 6800 PCI version from Nvidia or even the X800 from ATI - both are pretty expensive so I might just wait a while - its not that important right now and if I really need to I will steal the 128mb Nvidia FX card I put in the family computer and put it this just until I get one..

Btw for got to say that are some hecktic specifications for a non-gaming machine besides the graphic card
Those specs are awesome for video editing and all those hardcore things you can do on a computer. Thast all catch yas all later just had a good look at the site and thought ill help out!

Well Radeon X800 are awesome atm one of the high range graphic card. It also depend on wat brand you are going to get it in. The price takes affect on wat brand the graphic card it. If its for just normal computer usage well a 9600Pro or 9800 Pro are all sufficient enough to run anything. If for gamers X800. For nvidia the GT selection are a top of the market Nvidia card which competes with the x800 radeon. Well my suggestion is that for high performance X800 and for normal computer use prolly the older models of nvidia or radeons. Thanks Catch ya Hope it Helpped out =D

Radeon 9800 pro series is def. the best choice to go. Unless you are trying to save money, and then that wouldn’t be the best route at all. It’s quite expensive. I think 500.

Dude,

Wire managment! Sleve the wires and hide the slack! It’s not that hard, Do some custom sizing if you have to but neat and clean wires are paramount for a good display PC.

Video Card…. Hmm…. nvidia has nice software and drivers, ati has better hardware and more efficent rendering techniqures… nvidia has sli (but requires a special mobo)…. ATI! Just pick up one of the newer ati’s. I got a Radeon 9500 PRO and I LOVE IT! I’ve had it for almost two years now and it hasnt let me down in the least. (Good luck finding one though)

damn you and your shark case. i woulda bought one if it wasnt for the price (the tsunami dream is nice too).

i myself am becoming an nvidia fanboy, i have a msi fx 5700le (256mb) which really dosnt get enough use. although i can say i havent had any problems with a radion 9200 in my parents computer.
