MyBB Release Candidate 4 Released!

Well, over at the MyBB Community Forums, I’ve just released MyBB Release Candidate 4 to the mainstream public for downloading.

New Features and Changes include:

  • Completed Language System
  • Table Prefixes (new installs only)
  • Full PHP5 Compatibility
  • Restructuring and design of Admin CP
  • Reported posts can now be stored in the database
  • Inline Thread Moderation (forumdisplay.php)
  • Inline Post Moderation (showthread.php)
  • Antispam registration checks (Aka ‘Enter the text within this image’)
  • New registration, edit profile, and edit options pages
  • Badwords filter
  • 5 New Theme Options (outwidth, outercolor, bodybgcolor, bodybgimage, bodybgimageattributes)
  • RSS Syndication (with Feed URL Generator)
  • Search for all posts on profiles
  • Automatically mark forum read when all threads on 1st page are read
  • New Navigation and Breadcrumb System
  • Ability to add a poll to an exist thread (Via Edit Post page)
  • “Time Spent Online” addition in profiles
  • Quick forum permissions editor
  • New Forum Management page

Wow, its been a while since I last updated this site. Note, there will be a lack of updates at the moment because i’m currently studying for my HSC exams which begin on 18th October 2004.

    Congrats! This was a little earlier than I had anticipated :P I’m gonna have to do some extra coding on phpBB2MyBB to compensate for that…
