I hate to pull a Dr. Phil but is what you guys are doing working for you? Everyone wants to continue arguing but it hasn’t seemed to help. I admit I have had my own personal battles with people that went on and on but the arguing didn’t ever seem to help. The problem is that if you just stop there will probably be one person who continues talking trash and then someone else will want to make a reply to defend themselves. My view is that who gives a damn if someone talks trash… they are the one that will look bad for continuing.

At any rate, not that I don’t see multiple wrongs, I think that Dane should really think about this since, regardless of what happened afterwards, he initiated it by spamming. Funny thing is… him spamming is the only thing that has really had any effect. Not only did it start a war he got himself banned.

P.S. Dane, don’t think I’m personally attacking you because I don’t even know you. From both sides of the story it is fact that you made the initial action.

I dont remember exactly what I wrote, so simply put…Intimidation is used since the Forums are under your control and you have the power to delete them.

It was not because I wanted your article removed, I don’t really care about your article as who do you think people are going to listen to? Someone who is known to cause trouble against the community? The license was terminated because it was giving MyBB a bad name. There’s a difference in this. DXtremz’s email was only available in the IRC channel’s topic, it is not a public address. The msgpluszone address, however, was available in the article you published Dane so surfichris has every right to put it here since it was already in the public domain.

On a side not, Dane sort your spelling and grammar out. But back to the major point: this is bollocks.Things other people say are not allowed to be published without their consent, that’s a point of privacy and intellectual property. Logging conversations is all well and good because software has the capability to do that and everyone knows this, but publishing those logs is definitely inappropriate.

I saw no bias in this whole incident, all punishments and consequences were fair and in line with everything that occured.
